Online Payments must be made five (5) days before the deadline in order for the payment to process.
If you contact the City with a confirmation number between 8 am and 4 pm one business day before cutoff by calling 379-7717 ext. 0, you may be able to avoid cutoff.
On payments after the due date of the 15th, a 10% penalty is assessed.
On payments after the 24th, a $25 service fee is added.
Payment after 1:00 pm on cutoff day (normally the 26th) is administratively cutoff, so a $50 reconnect fee is assessed. Service cannot be restored until all the charges are paid.
You can have your utility payment deducted automatically from your checking or savings account, and you won’t have to change your present banking relationship to take advantage of this service.
The Direct Payment Plan will help you in several ways:

2. Helps pay your bills in a convenient and timely manner‐even if you’re on vacation or out of town.

Mount Pleasant City Hall Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm.
For Your Convenience After Hours and on Weekends, Please Use Our Night Drop Box.
We do NOT accept more than 20 coins for payment of any amount due to the City of Mount Pleasant.
