Fire Chief


City of Mount Pleasant, TN (estimated pop. 4,790) in Maury County, Tennessee, is seeking a well-rounded individual with proven leadership skills to serve as the City’s next Fire Chief.  Strong interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, and decision making skills required; ability to interact and communicate effectively with local, state and regional fire and emergency personnel, local officials and the public is required.  Must be a team player who can work well with other City departments, the City Manager, the Commission, and outside agencies.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  At least five years in the profession with management and command experience.
